THE EXHIBIT:

Annually, the Arts Council of Fayetteville/Cumberland County and Public Works Commission showcase art from our local community. Each summer our walls are adorned in creative expressions of artists of all ages. We are proud to have hosted our 2024 exhibition May 24th until July 20th, 2024. Below find a fun recap of the event and it's winners.

take a closer look

This year marks 19 years of public works!

This year we have broken our record of entries with over 90 artists, and over 160 pieces of art. Everywhere you look there is more art to see from talented local artists of all ages and in a multitude of mediums. From abstract to realism our walls are covered in a wide variety of beautiful works.  Each piece has been placed painstakingly throughout the space to let each shine.

we celebrated our 19th year with a bang

We had a record number of artists, art, and attendees to the Public Works exhibit. It proved once again to be one of our most engaging community events. This exhibit bridges all ages, backgrounds, skill levels, and art mediums. Every wall was full of color and creative ideas from a multitude of perspectives. From tapestry to furniture attendees could experience art in all its forms. We are proud to partner with the Public Works Commission to make this possible in our community.
